We caught the show at Salina, Ks last night and thought you were fantastic. We have been listening to your music for almost 40 years and this was the first time we have seen you in person. Your better in person than we ever imagined and hope we will be able to catch you again sometime. The other acts in the show were outstanding also. Glad the show was able to be finished without any tornado warnings!!
Take care, stay healthy and Please keep performing!!

Gene Chandler is one of the all time great SOUL vocalists. Nobody delivers in such a slick fashion. Remember 'Nothing Can Stop Me' 'I Fooled You This Time' ' After The Laughter' 'Mr Big Shot' 'To Be A Lover' some of the most incredible sounds ever on vinyl. Remember producing Wally Cox 'In The Long Run' on Wand? When are you coming to Britain? I'll be there. Love the site. Love Gene Chandler.

GENE CHANDLER...WOW! We just saw the 4 kings show in Dover Delaware. You were the bomb! I didn't think your performance could be improved over the years, but it's better now than it has ever been. How do you do it? Since 1962...You took the show! "STILL GETTING DOWN ON YOUR KNEES!" AWSOME! GOD BLESS YOU. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU SOON IN MARYLAND.
Dad, I just want to let you know how much we enjoyed your performance in Dover Downs, Delaware. I have seen you perform in many parts of the country over many years, but Dover was unreal. Jordan, Brennan, Meredith, Monica and I feel that you are the undisputed heavy weight championship performer of the world. See ya in MD.

Just a note to anyone who may be dropping past after recieving a 'belated' email to their guestbook entry. We're doing some updating here at Gene's site. One of the first new additions is this new-look guestbook. As Gene didn't want everyone to have to re-enter their kind words, we've gone ahead and added them *all* one by one :) We hope you like the new additions and changes to Gene's site.
Best Regards, the akashik.net team.

I recently watched the Doo-wop presentation on PBS on T.V. and enjoyed it with the rest of my family. How about doing the same Doo-wop Concert here in Toronto, CANADA emceed by Jerry Butler ? "Duke of Earl" is my favourite. It was recorded in 1962, the year I was born (I knew, I heard this before). Thanks for the songs, don't forget the concert in TORONTO, CANADA. I'll buy the first 10 tickets of the show.
