Hi Mr. Duke of Earl. Just got back from seeing you in Mohegan Suns this Dec. First time seeing you in person and your everything I thought you were. Was running all over the place to try to get a picture of you. Hope they come out. Security wouldn't let me too close. Hopefully you'll have a chance to play at the Hampton Casino Ballroom. Love your music.

Hey Gene, Man, what a gas playing Vegas with you back in July! You are still THE MAN! Rainbow killed me each and every night. I look forward to the hit at Foxwoods in January - on my birthday. What a way to celebrate! Peace from the trombonist for The Four Kings, Jim McFalls

Gene, I had to add to my wife's comments. You are one of the GREATEST. I was a junior in high school when The Duke Of Earl hit the top. I still sing along with WGRR when I hear you. I even catch myself walking around at work singing your song. There is no way I can thank you enough for the show in Cincinnati. Keep up the great music, you will forever be the DUKE OF EARL. God bless you.

My husband were priviledged enough to be in the audience tonight at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati at the Jingle Bell Rock Concert and I just had to tell you what an incredible performance you gave! We go to many oldies concerts and have seen literally dozens and dozens of performers but never have we seen a performance like you gave us tonight! Your energy and enthusium was contagious, you lit up the stage with your mere presence and your voice was so golden and amazing that it felt like a true gift from God! Thank you Gene Chandler for the most wonderful fantastic concert we've ever seen and we hope that you go on entertaining people like us for decades to come! What a terrific Christmas gift you were to the audience in Cincinnati tonight, we are truly honored that you graced our fair city with you incredible gift of song!! Nicki Lynn and Ronald May

Duke, I had a terrific time tonight seeing you at the WGRR Jingle Bell Rock Concert here in Cincinnati at the Taft Theater. I also got a kick out of you, Jerry "Iceman" Butler, and all the other great singers on the Do-Wop presentation on PBS last spring (well, at least that's when it was televised). Can't wait to see you again soon in Cincinnati.
