I had the pleasure of seeing "The Four Kings" when they were touring in Chicago and I must say it was one of the best performances I have seen in a long time. Everyone must see this show. It is absolutely fabulous! Definitely worth seeing again. Mr. Gene Chandler, all I can say is SPLENDID,SPLENDID,SPLENDID. You made my evening.
Hey Gene, while I tried to remember Eddie Rambeau's e-mail I found your web site. I love every record you've ever made, even the ones I haven't heard (yet!) I grew up in the north suburbs of Chicago but it wasn't until about 1978 or so that I found out you were such an integral part of the Chicago music scene. I hope you're well and all my best & sorry I can't scan a picture. Warmest regards--to the man who helped make pop music a "groovy situation"! Bobster

My mom bought a mixed cd with some oldies on it. And a song on there by Gene Chandler "rainbow (in my heart)" was on there it was live at the Regal. I was 15 Im 16 now. As a teenager who for the most part im into hip hop, I was amazed SERIOUSLY! I love that song! I must have listen to that joint like 30 times in a row LITERALY, LoL. He made me look at music in a different genre. So I can honestly say in the short 16 years of my life, Im a true Gene Chandler fan.

Hi Gene, I just picked up a vinyl copy of "The Two Sides Of Gene" album. WOW! It knocked me out! I just wanted to let you know that i think there is some of the most powerful and soulful singing ever on that album, now one of my favourites! Every song just blew me away! I just purchased the "Brunswick Years CD". Can't wait to get home and get knocked out all over again! Your friend in Toronto.......Gord

Hi Mr Gene chandler I just want you to known that I've always enjoyed your music over the years and I still can get enough of it. One of my favorites by is Just Be True, every time I hear it I get goose bumps. You Are deffinitely a soul pioneer and some of the best soul music came right out of Chicago. I would like pretty much if you have any information on the Five Stairsteps For One they were also one my favorite Chicago acts and I would just like to know if they are still around and if they're still in the music business.good luck and keep on doing what you are doing peace soul brother
