Had a front row seat 4/26/03 at the 4 Kings Sands Atlantic City performance. I was celebrating my birthday and Lloyd Price sang Happy Birthday to me. The show was terrific. I have told my friends that they need to check you out when you come to Westbury Music Fair. May your dukedom reign forever.

I just got back last night from your April 26 show at the Sands Casino in Atlantic City. The show was GREAT. The only problem I had was that there was no dance floor! Keep up the good work and God Bless!

Dear Gene, We just returned from the Four Kings of Rhythm and Blues concert at the Sands Casino in Atlantic City. You, Lloyd, Benny, and Jerry put on a show that surpasses any I have ever attended! You brought back so many sweet and bittersweet memories of our youth...moments that will never be forgotten. Please, please continue to do your part so that "Rock and Roll will never die." To doo wop, Linda McGrail

Who is "the Duke of Earl?" I play the song all the time and my kids ask "Daddy who is the Duke of Earl?" "Why Earl?" Why not Prince of Earl" etc I explain about Dukes and Princesses etc and that Earl probably refers to a place in england but really I have no idea. Can anyone explain the lyrics to me? Thanks

I am a 24 year old with an overwhelming appreciation for the real oldies. I am the daughter of John and Karen Volz of Street Corner Symphony, and I was raised on Doo Wop. I have very fond memories of learning to jitterbug in the kitchen with Mom and, in fact, being on stage with The Flamingos doing the twist! I had the wonderful opportunity to see my parents sing on stage with you during the WSAI concert on Saturday, April 12, 2003 and this will top the list of memories! You stole the show that night! I was wooed by your rendition of "I Only Have Eyes For You" to which I danced with my father at my wedding. You are an excellent performer and I can't stop telling everyone what a class act you are. I hope to be able to see you perform live in the future. Thank you for coming to Cincy!

I attended the doo wop show in cincy sat. night along with my mother and 2 of her friends. I am 25 years old and my radio dial is always turned to WSAI. I was raised on oldies and oldies alone. I grew up dancing in the kitchen with my mother before I was even able to walk to the twist and the jitterbug. The first time a big smile came across my face that night was when you came out on the stage. The energy you have was overwhelming and I loved every bit of your performance. You seem to be a very genuine man and you made the show in my opinion. Although I didnt grow up during the 50s and 60s I equally appreciate the music that was made during that time just as much as someone who did. And although I did get some strange looks because I was younger, I enjoyed myself truly. Thank You.

I saw you last night at the Taft Theatre (Cincy) and loved your performance. I was truly impressed by your
staying power. You give hope to all of us "oldies".
I really enjoyed your back up singers. I did not see their name on the program, who are they?
Do they travel with you on all of your tours? Where will you be playing next? I hope to see you again, soon.
Thank You, Gordon T. Cain

I have to admit, when I saw you on the PBS specials I thought you were a little histrionic. But, WOW!, in person it's a great act. You are in great shape for, dare I say it, a man of OUR age, and the voice is strong and true. May you continue making great music for many years to come!
